The basic pattern
Start broad, then check the exceptions.
- Choose six subjects across the required subject groups.
- A full diploma normally includes three or four Higher Level subjects.
- An additional languages, Individuals & Societies or Sciences subject may replace the Arts choice.
Before submitting choices
Ask three kinds of questions.
- Fit: Do I enjoy the thinking and work this course requires?
- Readiness: What prior learning or placement guidance applies?
- Future: Do my likely university courses require a subject or level?
